Description

The Facebook Likes collection feature allows you to grow your Facebook community from your leads or customers as part of your Campaign. There are 2 ways that users can Like your Facebook business page through OnSpot Social:

• Users can email themselves a link to your Facebook page and Like your page from their own Mobile phone
• Users can scan a QR code using their mobile phone in order to open your Facebook page, and from there Like your page

Email a Link to Your Facebook Page

A second option to give users the ability to email themselves a link to your Facebook Page so they can Like it through their mobile phone or personal computer. You can turn on this option by selecting the 'Include QR Code & Option To Email Link To Your Facebook Page' so that users can still Like your Facebook page when there is no internet connection available or if users do not wish to enter their Facebook login credentials directly into the app. If you do not have an internet connection, the email will go out to users the next time you connect to the internet.

Scan a QR Code to Like Your Facebook Page

You have the option to allow users to Like your Facebook Page by scanning a QR code with their mobile phone. You can turn on this option by selecting the 'Include QR Code & Option To Email Link To Your Facebook Page' so that users can still Like your Facebook page when there is no internet connection available or if users do not wish to enter their Facebook login credentials directly into the app.

Configuration Tips

If you have set up a custom URL in Facebook then simply fill in the rest of this URL to match the actual URL of your company’s Facebook Page. 

For Example: If your Facebook page is at http://www.facebook.com/MrJoesCoffee then just enter MrJoesCoffee into the Facebook configuration area on the OnSpot Social Web Admin.

Alternatively, if you do not have a custom URL then you can copy and paste the full URL from your browser into this box and the app will format it as needed.

This will enable you to collect Likes to your Facebook page.
