Description

The Pinterest followers collection feature allows you to grow your Pinterest community from your leads or customers as part of your Campaign. There are 3 ways that users can follow your Pinterest business page through OnSpot Social:

• Users can email themselves a link to your Pinterest page and follow your page from their own mobile phone, tablet or laptop, etc.
• Users can scan a QR code using their mobile phone in order to open your Pinterest page, and from there follow your page

Email a Link to Your Pinterest Page

A second option to give users the ability to email themselves a link to your Pinterest Page so they can follow it through their mobile phone or personal computer. You can turn on this option by selecting the 'Include QR Code & Option To Email Link To Your Pinterest Page' so that users can still follow your Pinterest page when there is no internet connection available or if users do not wish to enter their Pinterest login credentials directly into the app. If you do not have an internet connection, the email will go out to users the next time you connect to the internet.

Scan a QR Code to Follow Your Pinterest Page

You have the option to allow users to follow your Pinterest Page by scanning a QR code with their mobile phone. You can turn on this option by selecting the 'Include QR Code & Option To Email Link To Your Pinterest Page' so that users can still follow your Pinterest page when there is no internet connection available or if users do not wish to enter their Pinterest login credentials directly into the app.

Configuration Tips

If you have set up a custom URL in Pinterest then simply fill in the rest of this URL to match the actual URL of your company’s Pinterest Page. 

For Example: If your Pinterest page is at https://www.pinterest.com/onspotsocial/ then just enter onspotsocial into the Pinterest configuration area on the OnSpot Social Web Admin.

Alternatively, if you do not have a custom URL then you can copy and paste the full URL from your browser into this box and the app will format it as needed.

This will enable you to collect Follows on your Pinterest page.
