Description

The LinkedIn connections collection feature allows you to grow your LinkedIn community from your leads or customers as part of your Campaign. There are 2 ways that users can connect your LinkedIn business or personal page through OnSpot Social:

• Users can email themselves a link to your Linkedin page and connect with your page from their own Mobile phone
• Users can scan a QR code using their mobile phone in order to open your LinkedIn page, and from there connect with your page

Email a Link to Your LinkedIn Page

You have the option to give users the ability to email themselves a link to your Linkedin Page so they can connect with it through their mobile phone or personal computer. You can turn on this option by selecting the 'Include QR Code & Option To Email Link To Your LinkedIn Page' so that users can still connect with your LinkedIn page when there is no internet connection available or if users do not wish to enter their LinkedIn login credentials directly into the app. If you do not have an internet connection, the email will go out to users the next time you connect to the internet.

Scan a QR Code to Connect with Your LinkedIn Page

A second option is to allow users to connect with your LinkedIn Page by scanning a QR code with their mobile phone. You can turn on this option by selecting the 'Include QR Code & Option To Email Link To Your LinkedIn Page' so that users can still connect with your LinkedIn page when there is no internet connection available or if users do not wish to enter their LinkedIn login credentials directly into the app.

Configuration Tips

If you have set up a custom URL in LinkedIn then simply fill in the rest of this URL to match the actual URL of your company’s LinkedIn Page. 

For Example: If your LinkedIn page is at https://www.linkedin.com/company/onspot-social/ then just enter onspot-social into the LinkedIn configuration area on the OnSpot Social Web Admin.

Alternatively, if you do not have a custom URL then you can copy and paste the full URL from your browser into this box and the app will format it as needed.

This will enable you to collect Connections to your LinkedIn page.
