Description

The YouTube subscriber collection feature allows you to grow your YouTube community from your leads or customers as part of your Campaign. There are 2 ways that users can connect your YouTube business or personal page through OnSpot Social.

  • Users can email themselves a link to your YouTube page and subscribe to your page from their own Mobile phone
  • Users can scan a QR code using their mobile phone in order to open your YouTube page, and from there subscribe to your page

Email a Link to Your YouTube Page

One option is to give users the ability to email themselves a link to your YouTube Page so they can subscribe to it through their mobile phone or personal computer. You can turn on this option by selecting the 'Include QR Code & Option To Email Link To Your YouTube Page' so that users can still subscribe to your YouTube page when there is no internet connection available or if users do not wish to enter their YouTube login credentials directly into the app. If you do not have an internet connection, the email will go out to users the next time you connect to the internet.

Scan a QR Code to Subscribe Your YouTube Page

A second option is to allow users to subscribe to your YouTube Page by scanning a QR code with their mobile phone. You can turn on this option by selecting the 'Include QR Code & Option To Email Link To Your YouTube Page' so that users can still subscribe to your YouTube page when there is no internet connection available or if users do not wish to enter their YouTube login credentials directly into the app.

Configuration Tips

If you have set up a custom URL in YouTube then simply fill in the rest of this URL to match the actual URL of your company’s YouTube Page.

For Example: If your YouTube page is at https://www.youtube.com/user/OnSpotSocial then just enter onspot-social into the YouTube configuration area on the OnSpot Social Web Admin.

Alternatively, if you do not have a custom URL then you can copy and paste the full URL from your browser into this box and the app will format it as needed.

This will enable you to collect Subscribers on your YouTube page.
