Description
The Snapchat followers collection feature allows you to grow your Snapchat community from your leads or customers as part of your Form Field. There are two ways that users can connect your Snapchat business or personal page through OnSpot Social:
- Users can email themselves a link to your Snapchat page and follow your page from their own Mobile phone
- Users can scan a QR code using their smartphone, which will open your Snapchat page so they can Follow your page.
Email a Link to Your Snapchat Page
You have the option to give users the ability to email themselves a link to your Snapchat Page so they can follow it through their smartphone or personal computer. You can turn-on this option by selecting the 'Include QR Code & Option To Email Link To Your Snapchat Page' so that users can still follow your Snapchat page when there is no internet connection available or if users do not wish to enter their Snapchat login credentials directly into the app. If you do not have an internet connection, the email will go out to users the next time you connect to the internet.
Scan a QR Code to Follow Your Snapchat Page
A second option is to allow users to follow your Snapchat Page by scanning a QR code with their smartphone. You can turn-on this option by selecting the 'Include QR Code & Option To Email Link To Your Snapchat Page.' This feature allows users to follow your Snapchat page when there is no internet connection available or when a users do not wish to enter their Snapchat login credentials directly into the app.
Configuration Tips
If you have set up a custom URL in Snapchat then simply fill in the rest of this URL to match your Snapchat user name. You can find this under your account information or as shown in the image below.
Where you see the portion of the URL that says "onspotsocial" that is where you will add your Snapchat username creating a working link and QR code.
This will enable you to collect Followers on your Snapchat page.
