Description 

The OnSpot Social app can be used to scan both business cards and attendee badges found at trade shows, conferences, and events. These features work both with and without an internet connection, allowing you to use the app anywhere.

You can setup the app to only scan business cards, only scan badges, or give the user the option to scan both. If the app is setup to give users the option to scan both business cards and badges, they will see the selection screen below within the app.

Business Card Scanning Information

OnSpot Social uses advanced AI to scan all the information found on a business card and then accurately categorizes it. This features supports over 30 languages.

Badge Scanning Information

OnSpot Social can be used to scan the attendee badges that are commonly found at events, trade shows, and conferences. After scanning an attendee badge, all of that attendee's contact information that is available will be transferred to your OnSpot Social account.

Badge scanning requires a simple setup before each event as OnSpot Social needs to connect to the event database. Certain events may charge additional fees for this which OnSpot Social will charge to your account.

Visit the "Events" section of the OnSpot Social Web Admin before each event to add the event to your OnSpot Social event list.

General Configuration

To use the business card and/or badge scanning features, add the "Business Card & Badge Scanner" screen to your Form sequence. This screen needs to be the first in the sequence. After this first screen, add-in additional screens for each type of contact information you want to capture (ex. name, email address, phone number, etc.) See screenshot below as an example of the setup.
